Birth and Baptismal Records from Ancestry.com.  One source list birth in London, England and possible parentage.  This information is subject to additional research.
Emigration listed in Early VA Immigration Records, 1621-1666.
The only other historical record is a Land Patten to Elizabeth Packer or Parker for 920 acres in Henrico Co., VA, dated 17 Aug, 1636, Book 1, page 454. This land was granted “due to her late husband’s transportation of 19 persons” one of which was Peter Hulsey. (Pero)
No other information has been found. The death date is interpreted from this document.
Some sources list his death as late as 1700.
There is no historical record tying Charles Hulsey (abt. 1695-1722) to Peter Hulsey.
Pero suggests that a John Huddlesee, born 1639, as a possible son of Peter Hulsey. John Huddlesee’s possible children are unrecorded. John Huddlesee obtained land in Henrico Co. in 1679 and was involved in a legal suit as late as 1691. The John Huddlesee connection is supported by land transactions involving the families of neighbors of Charles Hulsey.
If the stated birth records are correct, this is impossible as Peter Hulsey was 13 years of age at the time of immigration. The birth records may also be incorrect.
Apparently Peter Hulsey was illiterate.
One source lists his wife as Ann Witt.
The family names associated with the Hulsey family includes Webb, Matlock and Witt.
